    A public hearing on the proposed State Plan for the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) for Federal Fiscal Year 2022 will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 9:30 a.m., concurrent with a public hearing on the Home Energy Assistance Program Rule (Chapter 24).

    COVID-19 Rent Relief Program is for renters who cannot afford to pay their rent due to circumstances related to the coronavirus pandemic. The attached document details the most current statistics available for the program.

    Invitation For Proposals: Managed Detection & Response Services
    MaineHousing is requesting proposals from experienced, qualified, and professional companies who can provide comprehensive, secure and modern managed detection and response services. Deadline for submission is 05/28/2021 by 5pm.

    Substantial Amendment for the Consolidated Plan
    MaineHousing applied for the second round of Emergency Solutions Grant Cares Act Funding. This will bring an additional $7. 8 million dollars to Maine. In total, MaineHousing will receive $12.6 million dollars in Emergency Solutions Grant Cares Act Funding. The funds will be used to fund shelter operation costs associated with planning and responding to COVID-19, including hotel/motel vouchers, temporary wellness shelters to allow for physical distancing, as well as rapid-rehousing identification, assistance, and case management. Additionally, MaineHousing will make funding available for homeless diversion programs and shelter renovations necessary to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19. Further information on eligibility and applications for these programs will available soon.
