MaineHousing’s multifamily portfolio includes properties with affordable units that were developed with MaineHousing financing, as well as properties that MaineHousing monitors on behalf of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Rent-Subsidized Housing Image

Rent-subsidized housing includes developments with project-based rental subsidy and in some cases additional MaineHousing financing.
 

Rent-Restricted Housing Image

The Rent-restricted portfolio includes projects with Low Income Housing Tax Credits, federal HOME funds and financing from MaineHousing’s Rental Loan Program.

 

Special Needs Housing Image

The Special needs housing includes transitional housing, group homes, emergency shelters, and supported or independent apartments for special needs populations.
