Notice of Public Hearing -Proposed Issuance of Tax-Exempt Single Family Mortgage Bonds


SUMMARY: The Maine State Housing Authority proposes to issue tax-exempt single family
mortgage bonds and notes in one or more series pursuant to a plan of financing, as contemplated
by Section 147(f)(2)(C) of the Internal Revenue Code, to finance, to replace amounts to be used
to redeem single family mortgage bonds issued to finance, and to redeem single family mortgage
bonds that were used to finance, the acquisition, construction and improvement of owneroccupied

residences in the State of Maine.

BOND SIZE: An amount not to exceed Three Hundred Fifty Million Dollars ($350,000,000) to finance, to replace amounts to be used to redeem single family mortgage bonds issued to finance,and to redeem single family mortgage bonds that were used to finance, the acquisition,construction and improvement of owner-occupied residences.

STATUTORY AUTHORITY: 30-A M.R.S. §4701, et seq., I.R.C. §§143, 147(f)
