		Home Repair
		This program provides 1% loans or deferred, forgivable mortgages to low-income homeowners for basic home repairs.

		Lead Hazard Control Program
		This program provides 0%, deferred, forgivable loans (no interest and no monthly payment) to make lower-income homes lead safe. The program is offered through four Community Action Program agencies.

		Weatherization
		MaineHousing’s Weatherization Program and Central Heating Improvement Program (CHIP) provide grants to low-income homeowners and renters to improve home energy performance. MaineHousing offers these programs to consumers through Community Action Program agencies, who screen people for eligibility as part of the LIHEAP application process.

		Disaster Assistance Loan Programs
		The Disaster Assistance Loan Programs offer low-interest rate mortgages to homeowners whose homes are damaged or destroyed in a declared natural disaster. MaineHousing offers this program through participating lenders.
