The State of Maine’s Housing Market
What is going on? Learn how the real estate market has really changed over recent months. As a buyer or a seller, as a Realtor, as a renter, as a multi-family owner or landlord, or as a lender there is a lot to think about: what happened? where are we now? what lies ahead? Hear from 3 experts who have a statewide view of Maine real estate, Maine’s rental market, and lending in Maine. Real estate sales and trends, multi-family markets and data, and the availability of financing are all integral to the Maine economy, the real estate industry, and the people we serve.

Moderator: Adam Krea  Panelists: Joanne Campbell, Sheryl Gregory, Sheila Malynowski
Unveiling of Maine’s new FREE Rental Service
Van Gottel, CEO of Socialserve.com and Cindy Namer of MaineHousing will unveil Maine’s new FREE rental listing service which offers an up-to-date, statewide inventory of market rate, subsidized, accessible, and special needs housing. The website offers a variety of resources and benefits for both landlords and tenants, and is supported with a toll-free call center. The website is hosted by Socialserve.com, a national not-for-profit provider of housing locator services.
